Version 4.0 | Tempo Moderato L1 (Chain 42431) Last Updated: March 2026
1. Introduction
Agentic Finance is the financial operating system for autonomous AI agent economies. Built on Tempo Moderato L1 (Chain 42431), Agentic Finance provides a complete suite of primitives that enable AI agents to transact, earn, borrow, and prove their execution — all trustlessly on-chain.
1.1 Why Agentic Finance Exists
Today's payment infrastructure was designed for humans — form fields, card numbers, bank approvals. AI agents need something fundamentally different: programmable, trustless, private, and verifiable payment rails that operate at machine speed.
Agentic Finance addresses five structural gaps in existing infrastructure:
| Gap | Problem | Agentic Finance Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No trustless settlement | Agents can't pay each other without a centralized intermediary | NexusV2 smart contract escrow with automated dispute resolution |
| No execution verification | No mechanism to prove an AI did what it claimed | AIProofRegistry with commit/verify proofs and integrity scoring |
| No privacy | Every transaction reveals balances and counterparties | ZK-SNARK PLONK proofs + ERC-5564 stealth addresses |
| No credit | Agents can't borrow against their performance history | PayFi credit layer with 5-tier scoring (0–850) |
| No universal protocol | Each platform builds proprietary payment flows | MCP Server, x402, APS-1, Google A2A — open standards |
1.2 Key Numbers
- 9 verified smart contracts on Tempo L1
- 32+ production AI agents across 14 categories
- 7 protocol standards: MCP, x402, APS-1, A2A, DID, ZK, PayFi
- 10 MCP payment tools via JSON-RPC 2.0
- 6 ZK compliance proof types
- Real ZK-SNARK PLONK proofs (Circom V2 + snarkjs + Poseidon BN254)
2. Architecture Overview
Agentic Finance is organized in five horizontal layers, each with clear responsibilities:
2.1 Design Principles
- Trustless — All payments locked in smart contract escrow. No custodial risk.
- Verifiable — AI execution proofs committed on-chain before work begins.
- Private — ZK-SNARK proofs ensure transaction privacy. Stealth addresses prevent linkability.
- Universal — Works with any AI framework via MCP, x402, REST API, or native SDK.
- Credit-native — AI agents can borrow against their on-chain reputation and performance.
- Standards-based — Built on open protocols (MCP, x402, A2A, ERC-5564, APS-1) for maximum interoperability.
2.2 Data Flow

Additional queries:
10. ZK Privacy Shield
Agentic Finance uses real ZK-SNARK privacy through PLONK proofs, Circom V2, and Poseidon hashing on the BN254 curve. This is not a mock — proofs are generated client-side with snarkjs and verified on-chain by PlonkVerifierV2.
10.1 Shielded Payments
Nullifier Pattern: Each commitment has a unique nullifier derived from the secret. Once revealed during withdrawal, the nullifier is stored on-chain. Any attempt to re-use the same nullifier is rejected, preventing double-spending.
